Use HASHTAGS. More specifically, local hashtags. Yes using #eyelashextensions and #volumelashes might get you traction, but they will not get you clients. Be more localized, use your city and airport code so clients in your area can find you. Remember, a high follower count does not mean a fully booked calendar. Promote your posts. Have you had sponsored ads on Instagram catch your eye multiple times? Those could be your ads! Again, like hashtags create promotions that will benefit and target local clients. Do not promote posts without targeting locally or you'll waste your marketing dollars.

Post often! Future clients like to see that you’re lashing often and active. So, be sure to take a picture of every client and post daily! This will also ensure that your posts show up more often and sooner.

Engage. Comment, like and reply to comments. Instagram wants to see that you’re active on the platform and will show your posts more often.
- Pay attention to insights and recognize what your audience likes to see. Do they like boomerangs? Open eye view? Closed eye view? Client selfies? Find what works and go with it.
